If I could be transported back...
Recently, David answered a question he originally asked as part of Hyde's Over/Under series:
If you could be transported back in history to a period of time, when would it be and why?
His answer got me thinking about my own.
Most people would probably use a time machine to witness great historical events.
I'd choose 1970.
Not because of politics, moon missions, or world-changing moments. I'd go for a much simpler reason: They Call Me Trinity was released that year.
Sitting in a cinema watching Bud Spencer and Terence Hill on the big screen for the very first time, without decades of nostalgia, without knowing they'd become legends.
That sounds like a pretty good use of a time machine to me. 😄
Bud Spencer and Terence Hill became something special in Germany thanks to their legendary dubbing, though. So I'd probably watch the German version when I got back.
